Gunkanjima island is a ghost ship floating off the coast of Nagasaki.
In the early 20th century, an entire city was built there because of the existence of a rich coal mine.
The last inhabitant left in 1974 after the closing of the mine. And this is how the island looks today. It gives you the shivers!
